April Ajoy is a hilarious content creator and podcast host who shines a light on harmful, toxic, and sometimes just weird traits of American Evangelicalism. She grew up as an evangelist’s kid steeped in Christian Nationalism, and she worked in conservative Christian media. That’s where she saw the harm of those ideologies firsthand. She’s still a Christian today, but she uses her platform to expose the dangers of Christian Nationalism while promoting a more inclusive vision of the faith.

Her new book is called “Star-Spangled Jesus: Leaving Christian Nationalism and Finding A True Faith.”
